The 1855 Willunga Courthouse and adjoining police cells have been preserved as a pocket museum by the National Trust, complete with magistrate's bench, dock, cells and stables.

Willunga Slate Museum

Willunga

A small National Trust museum on Willunga's historic High Street dedicated to the 19th-century slate quarries that roofed half of South Australia. Entry is free and the galleries are packed with original tools, photographs and local stories.

A 3-hectare wildlife sanctuary on the Woodstock Wine Estate at McLaren Flat, with rescued kangaroos, wallabies and an emu, and a daily 11:30am feeding session.

A heritage stone showground hall first built in 1887, with a 1900 supper room and 1950s cinema foyer - still the home of the annual Yankalilla Show.

A small monthly craft and produce market at the historic Agricultural Hall, third Saturday of every month, with local growers, makers and bakers.

A sporting precinct opened in 1926 hosting the Yankalilla Golf Course and the town's football, bowls, netball, hockey and tennis clubs.
