Bekkers Wine is the small cult winery of Toby and Emmanuelle Bekkers. Emmanuelle was born and trained in France and previously worked at Henschke; Toby is a viticulturist with deep roots in McLaren Vale. Their single-vineyard Syrah and Grenache are consistently among the most highly rated wines from the region.
Cellar door experience
The Bekkers tasting room on Seaview Road is open Thursday to Sunday, with small-group seated tastings by booking. A tasting fee of around $30 applies. Groups of 8 or more require an appointment.
