The Grilli legacy
Primo Estate was founded in 1973 by Joseph Grilli and today is one of the most admired family wineries in McLaren Vale. Joseph's son, Daniel Grilli, is now chief winemaker, continuing his father's distinctive, Italian-influenced approach.
Signature wines
The Joseph range (named for the founder) features exceptional wines including the iconic Moda Cabernet Merlot (made in the amarone-style appassimento process), La Magia botrytis Semillon, Joseph Olive Oil and Joseph Cold Pressed Olive Oil.
Cellar door
The cellar door on McMurtrie Road is open daily for tastings and sells the full range of wines and estate olive oils.
